Prior to joining POWER, Chuck served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for Calpine Corporation, the U.S.'s largest independent power producer. In this role, he was responsible for the accounting and auditing functions of the company. In managing the functions of SEC reporting and technical accounting, internal management reporting, SOX compliance, and other traditional accounting functions, he oversaw a global staff of 280 accountants. As Chief Accounting Officer he played a key role in managing the relationship with the company's external auditors and supported capital market transactions to promote the growth of the company. While employed at Kenetech and Dravo Corporations earlier in his career, he served in a variety of senior financial positions.
